This weekend I was working on a new wedding invitation design with my sister's wedding in mind...I do not know if this is the invitation she will be using, but I thought it was worth sharing!
While visiting Kansas City, MO a few months ago, my mother-in-law discovered a local soap company called Indigo Wild. Their products are 100% natural and their corporate philosophy is truly unique, they allow employees to bring their dogs to work with them and everyday they all meet in the break room for a "family" lunch! From products ranging from body soap (Zum Bars) to soy candles (Zum Glow) and laundry detergent (Zum Clean) to muscle salve (Zum Rub), they've got you covered! We were burning a lavender-mint Zum Glow soy candle last night and it smelled amazing, with little chunks of real lavender and mint sprinkled on the top of the candle...oh so clean and fresh. Check them out!
I've been on the lookout for fabric to recover a couple of antique chairs I have acquired in the last couple of weeks...I came across the Osborne & Little website and fell in love with some of their fabric choices, both old and new. Here are several of my favorites....
If you get a chance to check out Francesco Lagnese's work...he is an absolutely phenomenal photographer. He picks up the camera and magic happens. It's amazing to me how photographs have the power to change the way we see the world. His ability to see the beauty in the world is truly inspiring.
I am making a list of places I would like to visit the next time I am in Chicago and The Painted Lady is right up at the top of that list! I have a soft spot in my heart for restored furniture and one-of-a-kind vintage pieces....and the pictures of the store are just so cute!
First introduced to the Parker Palm Springs by Jen Gotch (who is an entirely different post for another day), I am determined to stay here in my lifetime. The hotel, with the help of Mr. Jonathan Adler, has accomplished just the right amount of modernistic design, but still looks comfortable and just absolutely stunning. Eye candy at its finest.
I was browsing Jane's goodies over at Ill Seen, Ill Said yesterday, and I came across a post that introduced me to Porter Grey. The clothes are designed by Alexandra O'neill and the style of her line is so fresh and timeless...I'm in need of a dress for my sister's wedding rehearsal and this is exactly the look I was wanting to achieve. Now if only there was somewhere around here to buy it....
